Performance Featuring KAMA Percussion Teacher, Dennis Bierman!

Check it out this Monday evening, 8/31, at Salem's Riverfront Park Amphitheater from 6 PM until dark!

The Keizer Community Stage Band, under the direction of drummer Dennis Bierman and alto saxophonist Doug Kay, will present a concert of favorite big band tunes featuring the songs of Glenn Miller, the Dorsey's, Duke Ellington and others.

The Keizer Community Stage Band is made up of 18 plus musicians and singers from the Salem/Keizer area who get together regularly for rehearsals and performances. This summer the band has been seen entertaining at the Keizer Iris Festival, Keizer River Fair,Avamere Court Retirement Center, Willamette Lutheran Home, and appearing twice monthly at the Salem Elks.

Their new season begins in September with a performance at the Operation Homefront Benefit on 9/11 and the grand opening of the Salvation Army Kroc Center on 9/26.


Come on out and support these volunteer musicians in their final concert of the summer.

This concert is presented by the City of Salem as part of the Mayor's Concert Series.
